Loch Fyne Restaurant comes to Shrewsbury

Loch Fyne Restaurant opens in Shrewsbury on 19th May

Situated in Talbot House on Market Street, the new restaurant in Shrewsbury will be serving all you would expect from the UK’s best-known seafood restaurant and more. Favourite dishes include; world-famous Loch Fyne oysters and smoked salmon, alongside a wide array of exciting main courses such as Scottish lobster, kiln-roasted salmon, and classic fish pie.

The Shrewsbury restaurant will be taking over the site of the old TSB bank, and its opening will revitalise one of the community’s well-known buildings. Portuguese Head Chef José Gomez will be leading the restaurant team, having worked with Loch Fyne for over four years, most recently in Beaconsfield. Local residents Brian Crowther and Caroline Newbrook will be managing the restaurant, which seats 94.

General Manager Brian Crowther said:

“It’s great that we are bringing Loch Fyne’s delicious and sustainable seafood to Shrewsbury, and we look forward to sharing our exciting seafood dishes with the local community. This is also an extra special opening as it coincides with the tenth anniversary of Loch Fyne Restaurants.”
